                       Big DS

   The year is 1990... the place is Queens, NY. Four barbers came together to form a near-future Hip Hop legend in the shape of the group, Onyx. Catching the eye of Jam Master Jay, the group was signed to his label and released their hit debut album, "Bacdafucup."  One member of this groups was Marlon "Big DS" Fletcher. With fellow group members, Marlon would enjoy the success of releasing hits like "SLAM!!" and "Throw Ya Gunz" among others. This debut album even beat out Dr Dre's "The Chronic" for "Best Rap Album" at the Soul Train Music Awards.

May 22, 2003 Marlon "Big DS" Fletcher died from Cancer caused complications.
