Big Hawk

   John Hawkins aka Big Hawk, came to fame in Houston's underground scene as part of late DJ Screw's Screwed up Click.  His career placed him on songs by Southern artists such as Lil Keke, Big Moe, and was even featured on Lil Troy's hit "Wanna Be a Baller."  In 2000, Big Hawk released his solo debut album, "Under Hawk's Wings."

In 1998 his little brother, Fat Pat, was murdered.  Big Hawk hisself was shot to death May 1, 2006 in front of an associate's house.  John "Big Hawk" Hawkins is survived by a wife and two children.
