Chaneè Brown
An active member of her church
family (Freeport, NY's Zion Cathedral Church of God in Christ),
Chaneé Monique Brown was the 18 year old Captain of Baldwin
High School Girls' Varsity Basketball team.
In death she procurred the dubious distinction of becoming the first in
Zion's 76 year history to be called home as she was. A night
with friends turned deadly when the driver of the motor vehicle she was
in lost control of the S.U.V. When the vehicle crashed and
flipped, the other four passengers escaped with just injuries.
